Perfect Imperfection – The Art of Ikenobo Ikebana Rikka Arrangement – Lusy Wahyudi
Lusy Wahyudi has studied Ikenobo Ikebana flower arrangement since 1988. Her teachers was Professor Seiha Sugihara, Professor Billy Noda, and Professor Nobu Kurashige, are highly talented Japanese Professors. As her passion were flourishes day by day, she has been actively participating in many workshops, practical demos, and exhibitions in Indonesia, Singapore, and Japan. She is also has been active in Ikenobo Ikebana Indonesian Chapter for many years and served as their chapter’s president During the period of 2011-2014.
In this book, Perfect Imperfection, she generously share her experiences and wisdom in learning and understanding the Rikka arrangement – an advance technique in Ikenobo Ikebana flower arrangement. Accompanied with more than a hundreds – of her own Rikka arrangement collection (in photographs). While the idea of the book was in development process, DID was asked to help Lusy to create the book she desires. DID has create a clear and concise layout – along with simple and stylist graphics to help simplify the complex process of creating a Rikka arrangement.
